Tank Laneway Bar - Brisbane

Working nearby, Its a default restaurant for myself and many colleagues for lunch. It was Japanese French on opening, and then it was something I can't describe and now it is modern and innovative- without being fussy.Must have been here fifty times at least.The owners have seen sense and appointed a wonderful manager from the staff who has a good team behind her. It's a big improvement from some of the past management.The wine list is limited, but pretty good.The place is small and constrained, but pleasant and intimate compared to many.The honey fig and haloumi and the tempura prawns are my favourites presently.For a business lunch it's hard to beat. Pizzas are always good.The Jamsheed Pepe Pinot Noir is great drinking.

The staff are beautiful. And not often you can say that about hospitality staff .. The food is sensational. It's a small space but the ambiance is large. I have been twice now. I think it now be my new regular. If you go .. You must get the side of chips !!!!

Topshelf drinks and food. Enjoy the atmosphere with friends and a few drinks over lovely nibble platters. Meals are deliscious as well.

A 2 pas de l'Ibis, un restaurant d'aspect anonyme, très calme, dans lequel nous avons plus qu'apprécié la qualité et l'originalité des pizzas ! 2 types de taille (10 ou 12 inches) , possibilité d'un ingrédient en sus (payant), une pâte fine et croustillante, une qualité de cuisson exceptionnelle, ont fait que la margarita d'une part, et la pizza à l'agneau (une première pour moi) d'autre part, un vrai régal ! Cidre bouteille et Malbec au verre (la liste des vins au verre n'est pas clairement mise en avant dans la carte des vins) accompagnent très bien le tout. Une excellente adresse.

I have meant to write this review for some time. I work nearby and I only visit the Laneway part of the restaurant at lunch time with work colleagues. The service is terrible. Consistently. You can sit waiting outside for 15 minutes or more before you even see a staff member let alone get served by one. Why promote Laneway dining if you don't service it. Every couple of months after promising never to return I give it another try but alas it is always hopeless. No issue with the food. For heavens sake get it fixed it is not an isolated problem.
