The fries were soggy and the burgers tasted rancid and stale. I called the owner to complain and he seemed uninterested, simply offering me a $40 replacement meal. It was clear he had no intention of addressing the issue. Good luck to anyone who continues to dine here.
This cafe is a welcome addition to Ballarat, offering generous servings and excellent dishes like the chicken pliers with perfectly balanced spiciness. We also enjoyed a refreshing glass of coconut and beetroot juice. The chips were cooked to perfection and the salad was fresh. Kudos to the chefs for putting a stylish twist on classic meals.
We were here every Sunday months and were excellent. on the last Sunday everything changed. chips were soggy and the burgers were rancid and stale. I called the owner and was told that he was contacted and talked to him, wow, what a sweat. the owner never slept, offered me a new meal of $40. a lot of luck running
Can't believe how good the chicken is here. The hottest one is definitely mouth burning hot. I cannot handle heat and just touched one and kicked my fingers and I wanted to cry. But the mild ones were so good, even in the burgers. The...sides were to die for as well. We tried the coleslaw, onion rings but my favourite were the corn on the cob. Definitely worth a visit! Staff are so lovely too. They went out of their way to make the cocktails we wanted even though they'd run out of some of the ingredients.
The chicken here is fantastic. The servings are huge delicious. Service is OK nothing spectacular. Only thing to note is they are not really set up for young kids (no kids menu, juice etc) so you will have to order a normal meal for...your littles.
