Feedback gevenI fought with my friend for a three-day dinner. it has a very relaxed atmosphere with coffee shop furniture and a BYOB policy (no cork fee). eating must be some of the best I tried in bristol. the combination of aromen is interesting, everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. the style of eating is quite good dining room, so the portions are not huge, but if they go for three courses, it is much and they will definitely want to be room for dessert! the menu changes regularly. as we went, we had: grilled pears with honey and stylton cervich mackerel with pine nuts, pancakes and green wild rabbits with mushes and senfmash cherry crispy crispy chocolate st emillion
Excellent evening meal in a beautiful environment. ceres has a simple tag menu that changes according to what is available. many creative aromes I appreciate can be described as modern brides; we shared seabass and lamb, with smoked salmon and asparagus stars. the personal was really attentive and we had a good chat with the cook at the end of the evening. The prices are good for this quality, mostly from £12 to £16; bringing their own to keep the total price down. will definitely return!
Gorgeous brunch menu that’s a little on the pricey side but worth every penny. Friendly service (although sometimes forgetful) with fresh ingredients. Good coffee and lovely atmosphere.
That menu! Popped in before I caught a coach from over the road without having looked the place up. Cake was incredible, will definitely be back to try more from the menu. Coffee was just right for me too. Great to find a place so committed to quality
Ok so before you visit you have to bear in mind that the food looks like something from a high end restaurants but you will have to sit on plastic crates with a cushion on them. Whilst I don’t mind the rustic look, I could easily slide around on my crate which was a bit annoying. The staff seemed a little too casual, and again, whilst I get the rustic look, the decor was too unfinished (such as the wall only being painted with one coat). One of our dishes the bacon and eggs with hollandaise was pretty good, although the hollandaise was a little too sweet and almost caramelised to work. My corn fritters dish was unfortunately more than disappointing. They had no salt or any other seasoning, and I bathed them in salt in the hope of getting some flavour which didn’t work. The spicy sauce/dip was a little spicy but also lacked flavour. The coffees were very good, and the cake selection they had on display looked appetising! Would come back if I could be assured the food would be more consistent.
