The Cottage Inn, Bristol

We are on a 5-day birthday break. and what a surprise! suddenly, in the early evening, the weather was brightened and the entire bristol strolled along the river banker, paddle boarding, cycling and enjoys in general. and then we passed on this beautiful pub. perfect location, wonderful view, boat trips, good ales, good but expensive eating and the most beautiful aperol splash! and. the icing on the cake....Good people watch! we used the app to save the mix from inside and it worked perfectly. it was busy. the personal was beautiful and it was the perfect evening.

What a wonderful little pub! Honestly, this must be one of the cosiest pubs around, boasting fantastic Butcombe beers and, by appearances, although I haven't sampled yet myself, great food. Just outside is a beautiful view of Clifton and the river running through Hotwells right in front of the pub. Special

This assessment comes after a negative review that I had made for complaining that I had made during a Sunday dinner that was not settled at that time. I have removed this review now as I have my previous experience as anomaly in a pub restaurant that deserves to eat on the map of the best places in bristol. the manager, elliot, contacted me by e-mail and asked me to return so that they can do the thing right. a generous and professional answer that I understood and took in the spirit that was given. Myself and a friend chose to eat from the interesting and tempting menu of the day. All the food we had were delicious, well cooked and presented with good portions. the beer is excellent and the service friendly and attentive. I know that we have been well looked after because of my previous experience, but I also saw good service for other tables around me service that was interested and knowledgeable. many thanks for a wonderful evening and well made to turn around for me. I will certainly return and recommend you to all those who ask.

Big beer, great eating and great looking to bristol harbour. In will return!

Great place at a fabulous location with helpful and friendly staff. Very glad to have helped developed a new starter which combines chips, onion rings and cheesy garlic bread, in just the one basket! Enjoy and please, no need to thank me.
