The Hobgoblin - Bristol

Second time visiting since change of hands and looks like they are as good as ever. Food was prompt, and delicious. Highly recommend the buffalo blue burger. Service was friendly and professional. Great place to chill out and watch the six nations in a relaxing atmosphere.

Not the Hob any longer. Smelly, dull, dirty glasses and the dirty fries are not dirty fries (sad looking and just bland and oily tasting) Sad to say we won’t visit again after so many years of great memories

Used to be a massive Fan of the Hob, dirty dirty fries, nachos and wings. Recently seems to have lost some of the atmosphere and the food just isn't what it used to be. They seem to be out of most things and were out of all soft drinks! Shame really, hopefully it can improve, maybe will go back in 6 months.

Amazing fast service, bar staff very attentive. Food was above average for places down this road, to be honest, I would say that the dirty fries were better than before. the kitchen staff even came out and spoke to us about allergens, Ollie and Allie. would recommend !!

Omg, can’t believe I just got barred from this pub for pointing out how dirty my glass was. Apparently, I shouldn’t ‘complain to a 20 year old’. Waiting time at the bar was long, dirty tables, disgusting toilets (swimming with wee, no toilet paper) and just general filth. When I complained to the bar staff she shouted at me I was barred, which is fine as I would never set a foot in the place again.
