The Steak Barn At Old Down - Bristol

I had a wonderful afternoon there and would definitely recommend it. I'm looking forward to trying the steak night when it reopens!

This is an excellent example of how to cook a steak – a perfectly prepared rare filet of high quality. Everything was superbly seasoned without being overwhelming. One of our group has a dairy and egg intolerance, and the staff kindly consulted the kitchen and brought out a delicious mango sorbet with fresh fruit for dessert. Additionally, the customer service was outstanding. Keep up the fantastic standard!

Nizza venue, went for a party, they have two log burners inside that made it very hot. I don't complain, because it could have the potential to be cold there with a stone floor and walls that it added to the atmosphere. a bit of a beer could have been a choice or a bottle, but very nice.

Had the Sunday carvery with family, very nice setting and good food.

Great food. Shame service was not as good. Had to continuously ask for service.
