Gyro Love - Bristol

The food was completely unappetizing. After just two bites, I had to discard it. I ordered the lamb gyro and grape leaves, and both were off-putting. They tasted very stale, and the meat definitely was not fresh.

I ordered delivery from the Terryville location, and I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived within 20 minutes, which was much quicker than the 45 minutes they had estimated. However, the food itself was unfortunately cold, and the meat in the gyros was tough and resembled beef jerky instead of the lamb we had ordered. The meat was strange, dry, and not warm at all.

The business has closed and is now operating under the name Magpies. They serve excellent breakfast and lunch!

Beware the Bristol location is not open on Sundays and Mondays however their website will let you order for those days and will charge your credit card. Prob best to call before ordering so your card isn't charged for service they did not provide. The food is good though, if you can order on a day they are open.

Had never been there before but I was wanting a salad. Saw they had them for lunch bowl. I had the shrimp which were good size. All the other items in the salad were good as well. It really hit the spot. I will return
