The Blue Circle - Bristol

Of all the eateries in Bristol (both,,,BTW), my lunch bud and I had not eaten at Blue Circle, the scion of the old school burger/fries drive-in. We grabbed a seat and¹ were waited on almost immediately. The menu is replete with standard 50's style drive-in fare. They also make a sandwich that puts every other sandwich place to shame. One of these monsters will feed a family of 4. I ordered the hot dog combo (2 dogs, crinkle fries, and a drink). Lunch bud had the big burger combo and later, a hot dog for himself. Was the fare special? Not really. Would I eat there again? Sure. A good hot dog and crinkle fries is an All American staple of drive-in food. For young folks, something new and different. For us oldies, it's a blast of nostalgia. The Blue Circle has been a fixture on Old Bluff City Highway for years, and you can still pull in and order from the comfort of your car. Take the kids, enjoy a flash from the past. Not too expensive, carry out or Door Dash.

Never again. The food was absolutely disgusting it tasted like dirty dish water smells. I cannot believe that with that quality they are still in business Shame on them. Just go to McDonald's people. The one star was being very generous by the way

I really enjoyed speaking to the people there including a couple of customers (veterans plus a wife). My ham cheese sandwich was excellent although not quite what I was hoping for maybe next time I will be clearer in my description of STEAMED chipped ham cheese with lettuce and tomatoes. The other items on the menu looked really good including those dishes other customers had before them. Really a must go dinner for atmosphere and good food.

If I could rate 0 I would. My husband and I decided to have lunch here today. We got the circle burgers combos. This was the biggest mistake we made today. The burger tasted awful. No seasoning whatsoever. The bread stuck to the paper. The only thing we enjoyed was the fries and drink. The Whitecastle burgers you buy at the grocery story tops this place. They need to bring Krystal's back to town!!!

Food is delicious and staff is friendly. Lots of delicious food to choose from. Step back into the 60's and enjoy some great onion rings. Service is fast and fantastic. Breakfast served all day till closing. They close at 8 p.m. everyday.
