The Old Lighthouse Diner - Bristol

The restaurant was decent, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. To be honest, it felt a bit overpriced for what you receive. The waitress was pleasant, though. You could find similar quality food at Waffle House for a lower price. If you're visiting from out of town, I highly recommend taking the extra six-minute drive to Bloom in the downtown area. You'll get more and better food for the same price there.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant for lunch. The service was quick and friendly, and it turned out that our server was one of the owners. I took her recommendation and ordered the fried steak sandwich with gravy, and it was an excellent choice. My friend had the eggs over easy with fried chicken livers and said his dish was great as well. I highly recommend this place!

I visited this restaurant based on some recommendations and was somewhat let down. It was extremely busy due to the Bristol Night Race that morning. The trouble began when I left my name and was told there would be a 20-minute wait. After a few other groups were called in ahead of us, I raised my concern with someone I believe was one of the owners. She seated us right away, but I discovered that my name had never been written down! The breakfast was enjoyable, although a bit greasy. Overall, I wouldn’t deter anyone from trying this place based on my experience. The decor is fun, and for the most part, the staff was friendly.

Service animal owners be aware. The owner will give you a hard time, and be kinda rude about it. But if you stand your ground, defend your rights with the correct laws and show your animals ID he will back down. I was originally about to give thisbusiness a 1 star because he almost didnt let us eat. Stating that because our service animal was a pit bull she was dangerousand he couldnt let her in. Even after we told him she alerts my husband when to take his medications. After showing ID andstanding up for ourselves he changed his tone and let us eat. The wait staff was very kind. The place is themed and decoratedin a cool theme. The food was good. We had breakfast. Nothing special. They have a full menu all day. Breakfast lunch and dinnerfood. Reasonably priced.

I had breakfast at Lighthouse this morning, and it was absolutely fantastic. The bacon, eggs, and French toast were cooked to perfection! I asked for pepper jack cheese on my scrambled eggs, and wow, it was delicious! The coffee was great as well, which is impressive because I'm quite particular about my coffee. I highly recommend it to anyone; if you're in the Bristol area, definitely give this gem a visit. They serve breakfast all day, and the service was excellent.
