Had been told not to visit by colleagues but thought they were joking so made the mistake of visiting. Even though it was not busy took ages to get served. Asked for a sandwich advertised on the board behind the counter and was told they were out it was only just after12:00! Chose a cheese and pickle baguette instead and thought how can that be made bad (it can sweaty cheese and warm pickle in dry baguette lovely! . Salad bar looked good and seemed popular and pre packed cakes and snacks were alright.
In Bristol on business and early for my meeting was early so my taxi driver dropped me off here with a recommendation. Ordered sausage, bacon and eggs to have in. Egg were deep fried almost. Bacon was spotty and partly cooked. Sausages pink in the middle. Tea was made by pouring from a jug that had been filled from a burko was cold. Why pour hot water into a jug to then pour into a cup when you have a burko with hot water on tap. No toilets how can you do that as a cafe? Am off to Greggs next door.
Love visiting here on our lunch break from work. My friend and I have tried lots of different things from a hot chicken roll, toasties and soup. You will never get a bad lunch from here Def visit it and the staff are quick too
I stopped here to have a quick cuppa and was very impressed by the breakfast sandwiches on offer which are made fresh and served to you at a table or to take away. I opted for an egg and mushroom on granary bread. The egg was perfectly cooked with a runny yoke. The mushrooms were freshly fried and the bread was soft and very tasty. All round a rather pleasant surprise.
