Great Christmas food menu, fast service and attentive staff, would highly recommend

Cold....damp and tired is how I'd describe Clifton Sausage. The food was pretty average too in all honesty. I wouldn't rush back put it that way.

Came in to eat this evening (monday night), had a lovely time. The food was humble and delicious. Amazing portion of great quality sausage and mash. My mrs and I both had the sausage taster/selection. 4 different bangers with loads of spring onion mash (or champ), parsnip crisps and a boat of gravy. All the sausages were unique and delicious. The mash smooth and buttery. We also ordered a braised red cabbage on the side. Sticky, sweet and sour, just as it should be. Just when i thought i was beat, i was sweet talked into a sticky toffee pudding. The sponge was light and open textured, and saturated with toffee sauce. The whole meal was a demonstration of stunning comfort food, which hits the spot like nothing else. We were served by Sabina, who was lovely and extremely tentative from start to finish. All in all, a spontaneous dinner plan, turned into finding this gem. We will be back. The sunday roast is calling... Thanks everyone

Simply superb! Plenty of choice, everything tastes great you can't ask for anything more, except perhaps for a second serving of sticky toffee pudding and ice cream if you have any room left! You must visit just make sure you book

Great traditional place. The mains we ordered were delicious and the roasted vegetables were so good, I still think about them!! Original British place, with a great vibe and friendly service.
