Agree with previous review from CA visitor. One error he assumed no hotels within 100 miles. Many fine holes in Dundee MI approximately 6 mile east on Chicago Blvd also known as Hwy M50 or quaint motel in Tecumseh MI again approximately 6 mile west on Hwy M50.

I usually love the service here, and the food and prices are great. However, I had a frustrating experience recently. I called to place a pickup order, as I usually do, for a burger basket with cheese, bacon, and tater tots, knowing there would be an extra charge. The man who answered became unexpectedly angry and raised his voice. He told me that bacon would cost an extra $2, cheese $1, and there was also a $2 charge to swap fries for tater tots. That added up to $4 on top of the original $6, bringing my total to $10. However, he insisted that the upcharge brought each of my three meals to $20. When I asked for the final total, he said he didn't have time for this and hung up on me.

The staff was very friendly. There's a fire station right next door, so the alarm went off during my visit. It's an old-fashioned but charming place!

Great neighborhood bar with tasty food and drinks. They typically offer daily lunch specials.

My son Jeremy absolutely loved his Bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings and battered fries. Jennifer ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with bacon and skinny fries, and she couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. I opted for the grilled chicken salad (the small size, but it was more than enough). It was just okay—the chicken didn't taste great, and the raspberry vinaigrette was overly sweet. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at the Bullpen. I've saved it in my GPS for my next visit to see the kids. It’s definitely worth the detour to find this gem! I’m giving it a solid 4 stars on Yelp. Yay! I’m a fan. - Dave
