I love this place and their Dominican cakes...it's the real deal here. However because of Covid store hours changed and it doesn't seem to be going back to normal again. I use to be able to get off my midnight shift and get my cake fix plus breakfast here. Now they open so late in the morning I don't ever get a chance to go by anymore. That's my only complaint STORE HOURS. Please change it because New Yorker move around the city early.

Called to ask about pricing for a hypothetical cake to see my options and the lady was very rude right away.

I ordered a cake in the counter, someone else comes in. She decided to take care of the other lady is fine, my mom And I are waiting. Then she goes to the back then she goes to the phone, then a cake pick up and we still waiting. ? We waited for about 15 minutes we left. very poor customer service.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I let the good reviews overweigh the bad reviews bc a good friend recommended this spot. I’m pregnant and all I wanted was ONE slice of cake that I’m pretty sure they always have sliced and packed up. My husband I got to the place at 7:10PM ON THE DOT. I called right before asking what time they close, lady on the phone said 7:30pm. She didn’t open the door even after we asked her for just one slice, letting her know I was the one who called to asked about closing time. Very disappointed. They should be specific about closing time/closing their door for customers. I was planning on ordering our baby shower cake here too. That’s a no now! Having good customer service will always flow in more customers! Being nice, will never hurt no one. Won’t be coming here again.
