They then took a long time to get the order, which ended up being extremely overcooked pasta that tasted like what a college freshman would cook the first time they leave home. Bad food, terrible vibes. I’m so glad I didn’t try to sit down at this restaurant.
Awful experience here tonight while trying to pick up an online order. I was so excited to hopefully encounter this super friendly, lovely manager/owner everyone speaks of in the reviews. Not tonight! Club music absolutely blasting in the store. Gross patron or staff member kept hovering around me once I walked in making demeaning statements about my skin color in Spanish (I guess he thought I wouldn’t understand- but I sure did. They “couldn’t find” my order even after I repeatedly showed them my online order and receipt. Utterly inept. Bad vibes from this establishment, inside and out. ICK! Never again.
One Friday afternoon I found my feet walking in The Bronx, and next thing I know I’m in Bubbles, sipping a delicious glass of Sangria! This a new place, has a cool vibe, ambience is rocking, staff are wonderful. The chef can make magic- mention you’re hungry and what you might like and he goes to work and Voila there you have it! The pic of the sandwich I posted doesn’t do it justice. Every bite was mouthwatering and delicious. They make their own Sangria-awesome! I would recommend Bubbles to friends family. And I hope everyone local to the area gets a chance to try it. Support local#.
Almost 45 minute wait for food. Not worth it especially in a rush or if you’re hungry
I have lived in Washington Heights for about a year and wanted to take my parents out for pizza when they came to visit. They were initially kind and welcoming but it all went down hill. We waited over an hour for one pizza and they ignored us the entire time we were there. We would have left if we did not pre-pay using the QR code. When we did receive the pizza it was burnt and greasy. They then told us “welcome to NY” as we left as it is the standard to be treated poorly. I do not recommend this restaurant to visitors or anybody for the matter. But if you are local you probably would have been served faster and treated better.
