Food has gone downhill. Last time I visited I ordered lechon and you can tell that it’s not newly cooked. “Ininit” in tagalog- meaning it was recooked again. You know when you have leftover lechon from the party and you fry it in oil the next day. That’s what it was. The skin was rubbery and it tasted old. Too bad because I really like this place. I hope they read my review and improve.
Food was good. Lumpia was more like spring roll not the Filipino lumpia that uses thin rice paper. Bangsilog was still warm by the time it arrived (I live 2.8 miles away). The flavors are as Filipino as you could get in the east coast, if you get what I mean.
They advertise for Lechon Pork so i ordered but this is not lechon! I know what is lechon coz i am a filipino.
This was gen one of the best meals Ive had. The Sisig Liempo Rice, 4pc Lumpiang Shanghai, the Chicken Wings and the abobo Adobo Fried Rice were all incredible. First time eating Filipino food and wont be the last!
