Cozy Royale - Broad Channel

Love this place, both for take-out and dine-in. Little Gem Wedge is loaded with blue cheese and is cut and dressed like a proper, classic iceberg wedge.

I recently ordered the Sole Meuniere from this restaurant, and I have to say it was a huge letdown. The dish was so excessively salty that it rendered the entire meal practically inedible. I had high expectations, especially given the restaurants reputation, but this experience was far from satisfying. To add insult to injury, the accompanying side dish left me scratching my head. Imagine my surprise when I received a measly portion of three tiny potatoes. I couldnt believe that this was considered an acceptable side for a dish that cost me a whopping $28. It felt like an afterthought, and the lack of creativity and generosity in the portion size left me questioning the value for money. The price point for this meal was simply unjustifiable given the quality and quantity of the food provided. I was genuinely looking forward to trying this place, but after this experience, I can confidently say that I will never be ordering from here again. Its disappointing when a restaurant with a seemingly good reputation fails to live up to expectations, and this was a prime example. Save your money and taste buds; there are far better dining options out there.

Rude service. I asked for more information about the soup special, the waiter responded, “what do you want me to say? It’s a soup!” Then I ordered a burger and fries. I waited 45 minutes and when I asked for any ETA of my order the same waiter said “it’s not my job to tell you when the food is going to come.” I just left.
