I loved everything about Elan...I'm sorry to hear that it has closed. I hope to be notified if the chef opens another restaurant.

No matter what I say in my review, Elan is closing tonight. It would be in the best interest of all New York diners to hope that David and George are able to find or create another opportunity to showcase their talents for the benefit of everyone.

Too bad it's closing soon. Go while you can. Excellent prix fixe menu for the price.

The 3-course prix fix menu was perfect and it was a fabulous deal in NYC dining. The dinning room filled up nicely at 8:00ish. I've seen mixed reviews and that the restaurant is closing. That's too bad. It really should do well. I'd certainly return.
