The food is always amazing and the staff is exceptional. The restaurant has a very authentic cozy ambiance. The dishes are perfectly flavored and very unique. I would highly recommend this place for a date night as well as a family-style dinner with family and friends. I've been to this restaurant multiple times and it's never failed to impress!
It looks like there are no more free plantain chips and corn nuts. The food seems better than before. Previous: I would come here just for the plantain chips and corn nuts. The food is good and the portions are fairly big. They play salsa music constantly so if you enjoy that then is is your kind of place.
The food was great, but the service was terrible. The food took over an hour and 15 mins to come out to also not get the correct dish. If you don't mind waiting really long and possibly getting the wrong dish then this is the spot for you.
The food and the environment is great. But watch out for the waiters they expect you to pay 20% tips on every meal. We are supposed to pay for the food not employee salaries. Before creating this hostile situation please advise the customers that there is a mandatory 20% or more surcharge for the unpaid labor. People shouldn't be harassed for tips.
