Excellent wine list and great Balkan grandma food in a space as cramped and stuffy as a patron saint celebration (iykyk). The bathroom has some original Yugoslav toiletries and a retro-futuristic public alarming legend poster.

Delicious. Though the location is a little out of the way his was a truly delightful meal. Fresh food ingredients prepared with care .

One of the last authentic restaurants in the city w/ amazing Serbian cuisine. On a Friday night, my friend and I were among many Serbs having dinner. My partner is Serbian and showed me this place, and it’s truly so special with amazing food wines. The fish of the day (usually branzino), cevapi (meat sausages), sopska (Serbian Greek salad), and lepina- amazing. It’s now my favorite restaurant in the city, which says a lot, and the service is really great as well. Much love for Kafana.

Incredible spot, not one bad bite. We had the sausages, beans, spinach and feta bites, and a bottle of wine. Large wine list! Couldn’t recommend enough, the staff is super friendly, and well priced
