The food was underwhelming and expensive...portions were small and my fish, as well as my husband's spaghetti alle vongole, were very salty. Wine options by the bottle were shockingly at extremely high price points...we had to go line by line to find something that was under $80/bottle. They would do well to incorporate some more affordable options. Service was unpolished, inconsistent, and detached. The one redeeming feature was the lovely patio. However, our meal was slightly ruined by the table of loud and obnoxious high school/college students sitting smack dab in the middle of all the tables. It would have been nice for management to take notice of this and ask that they be more considerate to other diners. Overall, I think there are MUCH better Italian restaurants in Brooklyn...
My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place for date night, but left disappointed and uninspired. The restaurant itself is bustling and charming. We sat in the backyard which was cozy, comfortable, and romantic. It felt like a little slice of the Amalfi coast behind a Brooklyn townhouse. We shared delicious Chardonnay and snacked on complimentary bread and the nardello peppers which were delicious. However, both of our pasta dishes were the lowlight of the night. I had the reginette pesto, which was mostly flavorless. He had the orecchiette ragu which tasted like it was from the jar. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place, as the price point was a bit higher than other comparable spots in the neighborhood, and the pastas left much to be desired.
Amazing place, very good food… one of my favorite places! Space oil
Great food, excellent and very knowledgeable service. Sam was awesome!
Food was excellent (get the Vongole and ask server for recommendations), sat in the yard for my birthday. Yard is beautiful very quaint. Ambiance was nice, crowd was the most recent wave of fort greene gentrification. The service was ok but not polished. The front of house is overall friendly good at welcoming but do not anticipate guest needs. Asking guests if they’re waiting for mains or what position they are shouldn’t be questions. Basic sequence of service needs whipping into shape and this place would be perfect. I will definitely be back though I really loved this place thank you.
