I got to this beer garden in time for dinner and grabbed my seat. The waiter took my order and then disappeared for a while. Finally they returned with my beer and apologized. I ordered the burger which came with sausages on the side. It was quite good, in particular the fried onions. As I was finishing my meal, the waiter returned to take my plate and the last few fries I had intended to eat. I got the check and put down my card, but then they didn't return for a while. Great spot, great service, and delicious food/drinks!

Max's has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. Delicious, authentic German food, and the portion sizes make the value amazing. Friendly staff, my wife and I have had great dates at Max Bratwurst. A deep beer selection, great rotating specials, schnapps, brunch, and a ton more. Great place for a nice dinner with friends or a quick lunch in the afternoon. Would highly recommend, and I always take people here their first time visiting me.

The beer is fine. Just like every other German beer place. I notice the little baskets where they put ketchup and paper towels aren’t properly cleaned. See crumbs. Kind of a kitchen nightmare situation. Otoh, at least you can look through to see what’s up in kitchen.
