Amazing place! The samosas are delicious and a great price. The staff are so nice, it's a great neighborhood place!

We found this place thanks to the great reviews on this app and thanks to our sudden whim to get Indian food. When we walked through the door Samy's warm smile greeted us and welcome us in. He peppered us with different tastes and samples of what he had to offer. After a couple tries we knew we had found something special. ALL of the dishes I've tried so far have been winners. Having such a high win ratio makes this place a staple on my take-out rotation. There's tons of dishes to try and tons of food to eat. His affectionate demeanor, high quality food, and affordable prices make it really hard to not love this place. The reviews are not wrong, this place is where food magic happens.

Why aren’t they on NYT already!? : completely underrated. Delicious, affordable, homemade Indian food for take out (among all the other deli style sandwiches they make . Their samosas, chicken vindaloo and Indian desserts are the best I’ve had in the neighbourhood. Also, the server/owner is super friendly and cares for each customer who walks in; while chatting away, he will give you giant portions of food with extra toppings like cashews and onions. I always leave this place with a smile on my face! (P.S. my partner also goes here and said that he has a similar experience each time!

I'm so glad Savor is what used to be old Subway sandwich place, the sandwiches are delicious and made with care. It's my daughter's favorite place to go after her swim meets for her favorite hero pastrami with mozzarella, homemade pickles, mayo mustard. I took a bite it was a yum moment, especially after I dipped it into the russian dressing he gave her for me which made it a double yum! Now it's your turn to support our favorite sandwich place on the UES!

If you haven’t been to this place, do it for the lovely owner who welcomes you with the best smile and open heart. There has never been a time when I have gone there and left without trying a bunch of different things. Everything here has a homey feel to it and poured with love. You have to try the samosas, chaat, chicken meals and sandwiches. Fuller stomachs and even fuller heart promised.
