Techne Kafe - Broad Channel

Extensive menu wow what choices. i went with the southern chicken egg benedict which is quite generous. although it can get very crowded with lengthy wait times, we zipped right in and out.

I ordered on DoorDash a grilled cheese sandwich. The menu on DoorDash clearly says served with fries. When the order came it had no fires. I assumed this was an error on the menu. When I called to let Tech Cafe know they did not care. The very RUDE lady that answered the phone argued with me and said it did not say that. You can clearly see on DoorDash menu it does. I called Doordash thankfully they handled it very professionally and refunded my money. So beware if your order the grilled cheese you will not get fries. Doordash and Tech cafe should correct this issue and Tech cafe should handle things more professionally. My daughter and I eat there all the time, but now we will not go back.

Traditional home cooked breakfast. Nothing fancy and that's what makes it great for an out of town visitor.

I have eaten here for years, use to be some really good food. Now this is what I’ve gotten, and no one cared when i complained on this. This place use to be some of the best food and consistently I keep trying to go and hope it will get better. These pictures are even after trying to absorb some grease, when I opened the foil it just poured out.

I've tried a lot of different places for a chicken fried steak but I have to say this is the best by far in Lubbock Texas. It's hand breaded and boy it's so tender. The sides that I picked was fries and my vegetable was green beans and they had the most amazing tastes. The whole plate was absolutely delicious.
