Tenzan Columbus Ave - Broad Channel

Very good food for a good price. We had the lunch offer including misu soup, salad, sushi and teriyaki chicken. Very good service and proximity to Central Park. Definitely, a recommendation!

Had a few sushi rolls here for lunch and it was ok. Nothing special but decent. I once read that many sushi places in NY don’t use real tuna in tuna rolls and this is the first place I’ve been to where I suspected it is true. Very red tasteless “tuna”. More elaborate rolls were underwhelming, a little mushy and didn’t hold their shape.

Food was excellent. The bar and bar tender were terrific, surprisingly strong liquor selection. Plenty of room for indoor and outdoor dining, bit they're clearly understaffed. While this is out of their control, they could have better communicated the situation to us. Our food came out after an hour and several complaints. Some items were missing.... Tenzan…we know staffing is a real problem, just let us know what's going on, honestly.

Tenzan is our favorite Japanese restaurant ever. The sushi and the soba noodles are out of this world. The frozen beer glasses, something we cannot live without anymore. The service is perfect.

Great, clean restaurant with outdoor seating. Must present vaccination card to eat indoors.
