The Blue Dog - Broad Channel

Drinks, octopus, burgers, excellent service. Maurice at the bar was amazing.

The place was super small…but its New York everything is small. The waiters were rude and acted as if we were inconvenienced them when we asked for something as simple as a refill on wateror salt and pepper. I'm from Nashville, TN where we are hospitable to ALL.

A friend who lives nearby suggested we meet at The Blue Dog for lunch when the restaurant we wanted to go to wasn't open yet. The food and drinks are good, but having been here several times, I was disappointed that I had to ask the server twice to fix a wobbly table. On another visit, I asked for hot sauce for my eggs, but the sever never brought it.

Very cool intimate location with helpful staff. The food and drinks were fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone!
