Chung Hing - Broadland

The food was terrible, we ended up throwing most of it away because it was unpleasant and lacked flavor. It has been months since our last visit, and the quality has only gotten worse. We have no intentions of returning due to how bad it has become.

I placed an £86.00 order for my family's birthday meal through Just Eat. We paid online and were supposed to pick it up at 6.20pm with the order reference number. When we arrived to pick it up, we were rudely told that they do not accept email or large orders, so we had to cancel the order. I have informed Just Eat, as this was not their fault, so they could address the issue with the restaurant. The Chinese take away had contact information, but it seems they do not want our business. They were unhelpful when we arrived, so we had to go home and order from another company who promptly delivered our meal within 30 minutes.

This was our first time ordering takeout from this restaurant. The set meal was enjoyable, with tasty mushroom rice and delicious spicy beef with chili cashew nuts. The spicy beef was very hot but had a good sauce. The hot and sour soup was a bit thin, and the portion of sweet and sour chicken balls was a bit stingy, but they had a light batter and a tasty sauce. Overall, we would give it a 7.5 out of 10.
