Hokulia Shave Ice - Broadview Heights

This place is really awesome. They serve authentic shaved ice at a reasonable price. The child's size is only $2.95, which is perfect in my opinion. They also offer ice cream and smoothies, although I did not try them. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They even replaced our spilled shaved ice at no extra cost. You can sample each flavor for free and each shaved ice can have up to three flavors of your choice or their suggestions. They also have a rewards program available.

This was my first visit to the new Hawaiian ice shop. They offer a variety of treats such as ice cream, flavored popcorn, nuts, and smoothies. Overall, everything was pretty good. The ice had some unique flavors like honeydew and huckleberry, although it was a bit softer than expected. While the ice was tasty, it didn't quite compare to the ice at the nearby shop. The service was a bit inconsistent, with two employees - a friendly and great female, and a slightly gruff male who seemed impatient with the long line of customers. Despite this, it's still worth giving this place a try. We certainly plan to return.
