Our Daily Bread Cafe - Broadwater

Great food and coffee. Eclectic mix of bric-à-brac to browse through too. Definitely worth the stop.

First time here although it was highly recommended to me last yearMy nasi goreng was delicious and my husband really enjoyed his vege stack lasagna.

Our Daily Bread Cafe is unlike any place I've ever been before! On our last stretch of drive headed back to Brisbane from Sydney and having not had any luck

Travelling south from Brisbane it was time for a coffee when we noticed the sign for this old church cafe ... just as we were driving by. It turned out to be a great place to stop serving the world's biggest scones with delicious home made jam and some yummy zucchini, feta and walnut bread. It was a busy Saturday morning and they were obviously short staffed so there was a bit of a wait but that was ok. The coffee was also good and we decided it had been well worth the u-turn to end up in such a great cafe.

Decided to stop for a spot of lunch at this highway venue whilst traveling south. A restored old church off Highway at Broadwater. Prices are a little on the high side for what you get even though it was delicious. Coffee was good but also on the high side. Don't expect cheap eats here. Overall OK but cheaper food can be found a little further down the highway in Woodburn where there a greater choice and competition. Word of warning toilet overlooks car park and window open and low and not covered. Lol!
