Le Blaireau at Careys Manor

The afternoon tea experience at this restaurant was delightful, with accommodating and friendly staff in a beautiful setting.

I recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at Cary's Manor. The staff were attentive, always on hand to refill our tea and water. We were celebrating a special occasion and they even brought out a decorated plate that said "happy birthday." A thoughtful gesture. The food was delicious and surprisingly, my mum, who has celiac disease, was able to eat everything without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place!

The sandwiches at this restaurant are delicious. They do not offer scones as part of the menu, but if you ask for them they are warm and tasty, and you can also get extra cream and jam if needed. The selection of small cakes is limited and not very flavorful. However, they are quick to offer extra tea and coffee when needed.

Visiting for afternoon tea I would have like my tea delivered the same time as the food , not 30 minutes later. That is the whole idea of afternoon tea’

Not my first time here. Purchased as an anniversary present. Was asked when booking through open table whether there was a special occasion. Told them it was but that information wasn’t passed on. I wasn’t expecting to much fuss but a mention would have been a nice touch. Service was great, food lovely.
