Montilio's Baking Company - Brockton

Montilio is a special place! You make a wonderfully gluten-free carrot cake and I could even put my company logo on it for a team event. Thank you to this amazing bakery. I can't recommend enough!

Not the same place I knew. Customer service is terrible. The employees argue about who can serve the counter better than the other. Then give a setting when you are the next person. The young girl could not find my paid order and could not treat the pressure of me to ask for a refund. Lady who claimed to be the owner was lost in the clouds somewhere and did not seem to care. She thought by offering a gift would solve the problem. I told her what I thought about it and would never return there. Ducks cause a long time, I said that if I married, I would get our cake there. Not anymore.

This place has down the drain over the years. Do not go with a design you want to run on a cake. They will charge an arm, leg, kidney and lung and then NOT do what they said they could/will. I gave them so many opportunities, and every year I say I don't go back and go in the end. Well, this year I mean it. I'm not going to spend another dim in this place.

I order a big safari cake for my Nephew for his birthday party, the cake was supposed to be delivered on 10/22/22 between 1:00pm to 3:00 pm. @4 o’clock call no answer, spend 1 hour calling no one picking up the phone, finally 5.30 the pick up put me on hold for over half hours until I hang up the phone I wait then call back, the lady took the info said she’s going to check with the driver, she didn’t even have the courtesy to call me back with an explanation of what happens, it was very embarrassing everyone was asking for the cake, it was very emotional to see my sister face when I told her and my nephew there will be no cake cutting. It was my first time and will be my last.Very disappointed until today no call from the manager for an explanation, very poor management.

What's not to love about this place? If you like sweets, you need to go here! Pleasant and helpful staff with workable hours to accommodate early birds and late in the day people who want something tasty for supper or breakfast the next day.
