Brimstone Wood Fired Pizza - Brockville

I love this place, the pinot grigio is cold and the pizza is hot. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal... I started with an awesome chicken Caesar salad; loved the crutons and the dressing! My server was excellent, very attentive and friendly. She suggested I try the genova pizza and it was fantastic. Service was fast and I felt welcome. I will be making this place a regular stop!

I have never written a bad review on here because I work in the industry and am generally pretty understanding. I came in for lunch with family and to be fair there were 7 people so we were a larger table. The restaurant was steady but certainly not busy by any standard (probably a total of 10 tables for 2 servers). We were seated for a full hour before everyone at the table had drinks (which were all soft drinks and included nothing complicated). We ordered an appetizer with our drinks which took probably an hour and 15 minutes and consisted of garlic toast and a bowl of bruschetta mix - virtually no prep required. We each ordered a pizza and 1 salad which took about 90 minutes from the time we sat down. The server seemed to be dealing with the situation by avoiding the table, was unapologetic about wait times, and lacked any sense of urgency. To her credit she brought out some extra food with the bruschetta (cheese and meat), let us know the kitchen was busy (despite the mostly empty restaurant), and kept the appetizer off the bill. This hardly makes up for keeping us waiting 60 minutes for fountain pop and failing to apologize for an unacceptable wait time. Really sorry but we won't be back.

This place makes the best specialty pizza ever. I have had thin crust Neopolitan style pizza in Toronto, Montreal, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Brimstone got it right. My daughter and I shared a Margherita and a Sicilian pizza and we both agree on this rating. The place is also very upscale in appearance and decor. The wood burning oven is in a section of the dining room and as a result the place smells wonderful. The service was prompt and pleasant. Don't miss this place if you find yourself in Brockville. We will be back for sure.

Paint party, wine and orderves... Really awesome venue and good snacks... Reasonable prices... I would go back Calamari ???? and Coconut shrimp... ???? delicious ????
