It is a family-owned business catering to those looking for a simple cup of coffee or a piece of pie to start their day. In addition to the food and drink options, the store also offers a variety of beautiful home decorations and fabrics, making it a great place to visit for more than just the food. The staff are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the overall experience is top-notch. I would highly recommend this place to others.
While passing through Brockway during lunchtime, my companion and I decided to try a local spot instead of a national chain. We ended up at Bill's Place, located on the corner, which seemed to offer sandwiches based on the signage and number of cars in the parking lot. However, upon entering, we were surprised to find a gift shop with only a few tables and a small kitchen. The week before Thanksgiving, the shop was filled with holiday-themed items, most of which were Made in China. The owner informed us that she had limited menu options due to the annual holiday festival drawing in crowds from all over. We ordered a tuna salad sandwich, egg salad sandwich (which had egg shell in it), and a cup of beef barley soup. The soup tasted like it came from a can, and the pumpkin caramel cheesecake we ordered was clearly from a box. The owner's loud and constant chatter with the predominantly female clientele shopping in the store made for a less than pleasant dining experience. Overall, we found the meal to be subpar and overpriced. As we left, we regretted not going to the Subway sandwich shop across the street.
