Bought some drinks snacks from here whilst waiting for our train. Great selection, decent prices the chap running it was just the nicest guy ever.
This coffee shop is advertised as the best in town, but I strongly disagree. The cappuccino I ordered was nothing more than a cup of boiling hot milk for £2.90. If I had been 6 months old, I would have burned my lips. I will not be returning to this terrible establishment.
If I could have given a zero, I would have. I ordered a sausage roll and a ham and cheese croissant. Both appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for more than 24 hours. They were lukewarm and the sausage roll was so over-baked that the pastry was burnt and extremely dry. The sausage inside was pink and practically raw. There were three employees working, a woman, a young man (possibly in his late teens), and an older Eastern European man in his late 30s who seemed more interested in dancing and chanting to loud music than serving customers. The food was so bad that I had to throw it away after just one bite. It was a truly unpleasant experience overall. Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe it.
Was so surprised by the reviews on here. I used to go to Puccinos every day when I commuted to work. I was looking online to see if it was open. The staff were so friendly and often really brightened up my morning. They don’t speak much as they are busy, know their regulars and the trains they are aiming for and are trying to get the coffee quickly so people aren’t late but still get their morning fix ;
