Lickey Lips Cafe - Bromsgrove

First time visit to Duck ponds cafe after a trail walk around the amazing lickey hills. Stopped for a cup of tea before heading off home, Paid £3.60 for dish water I could not drink it had to throw it away. Don’t bother visiting after a walk I don’t normally put comments on social media but I hate wasting hard earned cash

Both food and service were very poor today. 30 minute wait for vile tasting (home made) soup. Couldn't care less attitude from staff. A shame because the menu looks tempting enough and the lickey hills are fabulous.

I used to spend many of my younger days in this area. Now I come with my one-year-old who loves watching the birds, feeding them, and running around. It's a convenient and easily accessible place to visit. We always make sure to stop at the Duckpond cafe for a drink - the staff is lovely and the coffee is great.

This restaurant is a hidden gem that has been a lifesaver during lockdown. The menu is small but carefully chosen and the prices are reasonable for the area. The service is quick and the food is delicious, making it a perfect spot for a light lunch in a beautiful setting.

My father-in-law recommended this restaurant, which we didn't even know existed. We initially thought it was closed because we couldn't find any recent reviews and it is well hidden if you are not familiar with it. Luckily, there is parking available. The menu was quite extensive, offering hot lunch meals as well as breakfast options. We tried the bacon, egg, and sausage sandwiches with tea at the cafe, which was simple but sufficient. If you prefer takeout, you can also order from an outside hatch. The staff was friendly, although not as much if you need to use the restroom in the clubhouse. We will definitely be visiting more frequently now that we know it is still open.
