Next Stop Vegan - BRONX

I tried this restaurant for the first time and it was fantastic! I’ve always wanted to sample some classic Dominican dishes, but they usually contain meat. It’s amazing to finally enjoy them in vegan form!

This is a cozy little spot in the Bronx, and the food brings back memories of my childhood—only it's even better! I absolutely love Dominican cuisine since it reflects my culture, but I can still appreciate a good chimi. I've dined in person as well as ordered through Uber Eats, and I wasn’t disappointed either time. This review has been updated from my previous one on March 4, 2021.

I've been wanting to order delivery from them for a few months, but I could never get through on Saturdays when I called. I'm not usually a Postmates user (I prefer Grubhub), but thank goodness I found them on Postmates! I just devoured a Pastelito and a Chimi, and both were fantastic. The Chimi sauce was even better than the non-vegan versions I've had from several places in the Heights and off Dykman. I can't wait to order again!

The Next Stop Vegan has some really delicious staple items on their menu which really put them on the map. Their Patacon Chimi Yaroa with Maduros are absolutely delicious. They have a unique sauce that you will crave days after enjoying. It is such a joy to have Dominican Vegan food in The Bronx ! (It is Saturday pop up shop at the moment so wait times are a bit long, but calling ahead is possible they will call you when your order is ready for pick up- how great is that!?

I had the chimi burger at the Bronx night market and I loved it! The sauce was everything!!
