We really liked KSJ Monster Pub when they first opened, but not so much anymore. The last 2 orders we placed on Skip the Dishes were disappointing. The 1st time they made a substitution on their own without informing us or updating their menu in the app to the new corrected item anytime with other restaurants we've received a phone call if they can't fulfil the exact item(s) we've ordered to confirm if we're ok with the substitutions. We received carrot cake instead of cheesecake. Not trying to complain over something minor like that, but it could actually be a huge issue and liability if someone were to have an allergy. The 2nd time last night they did the same again, substituting chicken nuggets for chicken tenders, where the chicken nuggets are the equivalent to Janes frozen chicken nuggets from the grocery store, and also didn't include fries. I called the restaurant right away and all they could offer was for me to pick up the missing fries sometime at my convenience. Overall, we had high hopes for this new restaurant in Bowmanville and have placed so many orders with them over the last few months, but we're definitely disappointed and probably won't order from them again.
