El Espino - Brooklyn

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant and I decided to try the huevos Rancheros and some guacamole. The food was delicious and I definitely want to come back again. Yes!

I tried the Bandeja Colombiana platter and it was fantastic. The meat was delicious! The portions were generous and the prices were affordable. I am definitely a fan.

The Salvadorian/Mexican food at this restaurant is delicious and satisfying. The portions are very generous considering the price. Although delivery took about 45 minutes through Seamless, it was well worth the wait. We have saved this restaurant as a favorite. Thank you, El Espino!

The food is good, but the service was a this time bad

My favorite spot for central American food. I usually order takeout but will mention my must haves. Pupusas revueltas are PHENOMENAL! Carne asada with chimol (chimol is like pico de gallo except no jalapeños and it has salt and lime) is chefs kiss! They fire grill it. Tacos are pretty okay but are STUFFED with meat (carnitas and chicken are banging) the caldo the res and caldo the mondongo is just how my mom or dad would make it and honestly I did not want to write a review because I wanted to keep my hidden gem a secret (cause y'all ruin everything) but I won't be selfish, this place deserves the business!
