The pizza was decent—nothing out of the ordinary, but it got the job done. I would recommend the square slices over the traditional ones; they have much more flavor. The staff at the counter were quick and efficient, and they even smiled when I spoke a little Spanish to them (in Brooklyn!). The real highlight for me was the ability to get hot, delicious, and filling food in the early morning hours. For that reason alone, this place is hard to beat.
The chicken roll was fairly good, although there were some chewy bits and it felt a bit small for the price. However, the marinara sauce definitely missed the mark. As someone who's familiar with authentic Italian flavors from New York, I can say it tasted more like something you'd find at TGI Fridays. If you're going to charge these prices, you need to step up your game. Consider doing some taste tests or experimenting a bit more!
I got food poisoning from them twice now and they refuse to help me out.The first time I thought it was coincidence but the second time eating I knew for a fact it was the pizza that made me sick.If you want to throw up for 2 days straight come here!
I really never leave reviews but I had a notably poor experience with Joe’s Pizza. Would not recommend. The customer service was terrible and the pizza was dry and cold.
