Really nice hot food bar! Restrooms needed a little attention, but otherwise very clean, also this stop has camper and RV pull thru Gas and diesel pumps!!
I’m giving this truck stop one star. Out of all the truck stops I visit, Flying J and Pilot show no consideration for drivers. They are the only ones that offer no incentives for us, despite all the business we bring in. They even take away your shower credits after a certain amount of time. I just had to spend $32 on a team shower, and I’ve decided to take my business to Love’s instead. At least they value and care about drivers.
I strongly urge Flying J to install benches in all shower stalls, particularly under the vanities, so that women can sit while drying their hair, applying makeup, and so on. Some locations have them, but most do not.
This Flying J truck stop has many positive aspects, but there are also some notable drawbacks. The staff is friendly and maintains a wonderfully positive attitude. The food options in the hot section are impressive. However, during my four-day stay, I experienced a few significant issues. The fountain drinks were frequently missing flavor syrup, and on two occasions, the soda ran out completely, leaving me with tonic water instead. The sweet tea also did not taste fresh at all. Additionally, the public restrooms (not including the drivers’ restroom and showers) are in dire need of repair and maintenance. Out of the three stalls, two had broken seats, and there are nails protruding from the floor. The restroom doors didn’t align properly, making them difficult to close. Despite these issues, it’s still a decent place to take a break.
