When ever we visit Newtown Square from DC, this is must eat/buy for my husband. He loves most of their food and I also love their apple walnut pie?? so yummy! Their brunch was also very tasty. I didn?t have time to get their brunch this time but I really like their service and food whenever we visited them. Their kitchen closes at 2:30pm. Parking is easy. Lots of spaces.
Placed a to-go order for the French Toast sampler. Customer service was great, I was greeted and taken to the counter to place my order. I waited in my car until the call came through that my order was ready. Good portion and good value. The poundcake French toast was my fave, no syrup needed. 10/10 reccomend.
This is a great place for a gluten free breakfast. I had the apple walnut French toast, fried eggs, ham, home fries and GF toast with jelly. It was all great, but the apple walnut French toast was the real standout. If you have Celiac disease and you're visiting Philadelphia, this place is worth the trip.
An early weekday morning visit where we were seated promptly and then that?s about it? We sat for close to 15 minutes before a waitress came by to take our drink order, which we had to correct her as she read it back to us. And then she disappeared again and we sat another 7 minutes, yes we timed it at that point, until we decided to leave. I get your busy but other tables around us with guests who came in after us had beverages on the table well before us. This isn?t the first time we?ve had service like this and it?s beginning to become a deal breaker.
