North Side Tavern - Broomfield

I came in with my girlfriend last night, as we have just moved to the area. Been wanting to check it out! Real cozy local vibe and feel. Staff was a very welcoming and was able to get a nice booth on an early Friday evening. Got 2 dirty martinis, that would have been perfect but it tasted like the olives had been on the bar tray awhile and mixed with other flavors. The whiskey ginger and mule order after were perfect. We started with a 6pc style house made pretzel sticks-they were run of the mill bar wings, not bad. If they are brined and rubbed they might have been over fried. House made pretzel sticks were awesome, but cheese sauce could be better. I got the fish and chips, and my girlfriend got tavern burger. Fish and chips were great and tarter was awesome. My fries were alright but my the sweet potato fries were awesome. Key lime pie is a must order, it was the best dish of the night! Overall would definitely come back. Check it out!

I lived in Seattle for over 20 years. Needless to say I could get get some great seafood and fish up there. Here in Co. I have lowered expectations for this type of food. I ordered the fish, it was Amazing! Costal quality! By far the best I have found in the greater Denver area so far. Great food and good service!

The Fried Pickle Planks are the best I have ever had! Perfectly crunchy! And the pickle still has the crunch! I am in love. And THEY ARE GLUTEN FREE! Service is amazing. We had Drea as our server. Drinks were delicious! Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free and I love the choices available.

Coming here for quite a while, like everything about this place.
