They used rice to make the food look fuller. Rice smelled funny. Better go to Kam Fung or Jardin du Sud for take out.
The place is simple, without decoration but where I have eaten the best Asian food to come back several times. I recommend the general tao, a delicious fried chicken, crispy in agridulce sauce. Chinese-style pastas. rations are abundant so that you need to be careful when asking. to consume in the local or to carry. only effective. economic and delicious
Frequented by regulars on the noon the dishes are prepared at the minute. Nothing extraordinary but everything is honest. good spicy soup, excellent rollers. good rice sticking in accompaniment. good general tao chicken, very good salt and pepper. Everything's fine. Quick and courteous service. We've already taken some food to bring in the evening. It's definitely better on the spot in addition to being faster.
Thai pads and Tao general chicken are the dishes that we command most regularly and this is where we find them the most tasty. Some dishes do not fall as much in our tastes and we find them better elsewhere. Nothing abnormal. What's a bit of awkward is that this restaurant doesn't offer a "combo for 2" menu, which is distinguished from similar restaurants for this type of food. A very good restaurant, very reasonable prices but. no alcohol permit, which can be considered in a restaurant choice.
Having already eaten on the spot a few years ago with friends who only judging by this place outside the chinatown of Montreal, we returned yesterday (January 31.) we are in a small neighborhood restaurant. It was 7:00 and we were going home. the tables being hyper glued, more than before, we decided to order to bring because we would have been sitting almost with foreigners. General Tao was okay but served in a styromousse dish with white rice? There was no more moisture. The portion was gigantic. The pork chops with the cari were made of an equally gigantic dish. Are you crazy? a brown orange sauce, quite fade and vaguely spicy to the cari, the absent chili. slender pork chops wrapped in breadcrumbs that fade in the sauce, stacked one on the other, large pieces of onions and green peppers, still in a dish in styromousse. The fried rice wasn't. It was a white rice with big pieces of chicken. the portion was titanic and could easily serve 6 to 8 people. No taste, no flavor... White! The rollers were pretty good, but were lacking crispy. The sauce in envelope. no wand, no utensils, 45 minutes waiting, standing by the door, no room to sit, the one who took our order sitting at a table consulting his phone, the waiters that turn our backs by tagging on us to keep an eye on the tables. an experience to forget.
