Mon Ami Brossard

This restaurant provides a fast food-style experience. You just select from the menu, and your order is ready in no time. We waited around 5 minutes to be seated, and the venue was quite empty, especially for a Sunday afternoon. The service was quick and efficient. However, we were surprised by the food we received. It was unevenly heated; the rice was warm, but the pork was a bit cold. Unfortunately, since no staff member checked in with us to see if we were satisfied, we didn’t have the chance to ask if this was typical.

This is by far my favorite K-BBQ place. The food is fantastic, and the staff is extremely professional and efficient. I haven't had a negative experience here at all.

Overall, the service could use some improvement. We placed our orders, but not everything arrived as expected. We often had to reorder or directly communicate with the waitress, who had limited proficiency in English and French, leading to some items still being forgotten. On a positive note, the food was delicious; we had plenty to eat and left feeling satisfied. I should mention that if you order the pumpkin salad, you'll get something that resembles an ice cream scoop but tastes like sweet potatoes. Surprisingly, it was quite tasty! Fortunately, the restaurant wasn't crowded, so we were lucky to get a table, especially since it was Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the addition of K-pop songs playing in the background made it even better.

The menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of options. Plus, there's a hot grill in the center of each table where you can cook your own sides, meat, and vegetables. The staff greets you with the warmest smiles, always ready to assist you, sing happy birthday, take photos, and they genuinely seem happy to have you there. It’s like there’s something magical in the air! You really have to experience it for yourself.

The food was tasty, but the large pieces of fried chicken were undercooked and concerning. I'm worried about the children who ate it.
