Where do I start ordered 2 sunday lunches in a very cold empty room. drinks came ok then meals came one without the beef when 2 meats were ordered. No condiments ie: mustard horseradish etc offered no cutlery for serving veg. The roast potatoes were small parmentier which had been heated up and dried till hard. The cauliflower cheese was again heated up till completely dry you need a knife to cut through it. Other veg awful and the meat overcooked. This was the worst Sunday lunch ever and the owner needs to go back to cookery class to understand what is a Sunday Lunch.Although the bill was adjusted Sunday lunch was a washout We cancelled the sweet we ordered and left still hungry and cold. Decent little bar in boldmere ,friendly atmosphere, and reasonable with their pricing , wine choice could be better,but a likeable place for a couple of slurps Price per person: £10–20 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Such a shame, we were looking forward to trying out this place but we had a really bad experience. We ordered food which after an hour hadn't come, after checking we were told that the person that took our order hadn't put it through. Whilst frustrating these things happen, but then after another 30mins one meal came but not the other two. Again they had forgotten to put through half the order. Not once did anyone apologise or check to see if we were ok. We left with only one of our table having eaten and having wasted our Sunday morning. Mistakes happen but it wasn't dealt with well. Went this morning. 6th October. Atmosphere is very nice and food good. What makes this place though is The Staff. All three ladies hardworking, polite and cheerful and very efficient. It was a nice change to have such attentive staff. Will recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
