The Toros Mexican - Brownsburg

I was on the road traveling and had googled this exit for restaurants prior to my visit. I selected this restaurant because they were open until 10 PM. I called ahead due to COVID-19 availability. They got me right in while I was sitting in the parking lot. I had a terrific top shelf margarita. Once I had my margarita and perused the menu, I placed my order for food. Probably waited 15 minutes and my dinner was set before me. It was really terrific authentic Mexican cuisine. I had the chili poblanos plate. Probably one of the top five of any I ever had. The refried beans were quite remarkable and better than any I’ve ever had. The rice was typical and good. It appears they are a family owned business and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Very charming restaurant. I’m so happy I chose this place to stop and have my supper after a long day of travel. I definitely would stop there again. Really great menu. Really nice people.

The staff at Brownsburg were more than kind to our larger group of 6th grade girls. Food was great, and their service was excellent. Thank you especially to Kayleigh and Taylor!

My omelet was awful and then the bottom of my plate had old fries and ketchup all over it. When presenting to our server and questioning as to whether the plate was washed, her response was literally “I’m not sure” but I can ask my manager what she can do, mind you the bottom of that plate was on the top of someone else’s! She took the omelet off the bill but never presented herself at the table. We sat with no refills in a restaurant that maybe had 3-4 tables seated. Then when we got the bills our server was waving them around in front of people faces asking who got which bill, interrupting conversations and simply said “here ya go” and the bills weren’t accurate. The chocolate milk that was requested at ordering was never brought but then asked if we wanted it, after we ate. Poor attitude. Will not return.

This is our favorite visit to Mexican cuisine. the wet burrito is the favorite of my man. I love her grilled chicken quesadilla. super fast service. friendly staff.
