The Narrowboat Cafe - Broxbourne

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The location is fantastic and the ambiance is charming. The traditional food is delicious and definitely worth a visit. Thank you so much!

Great food; beautiful people and showed me special lockdown food when I got all fainty out of the heat!

We often make the drive from Forest Gate to Narrowboat and always order the Millionaire's Shortbread. We like to think we practice calorie cycling, so it would be impolite not to indulge in some.

After struggling to find the café, it was unclear if there was table service or if we had to order at the counter, which resulted in wasted time waiting. Despite waiting a long time to eat and eventually getting ahead of a large group of cyclists, the food was still available. We had a hungry elderly person with us who had to wait. The restaurant was not overly busy, so it was puzzling why it took so long to be served and why the ordering system seemed disorganized. It was disappointing, especially considering the positive reviews.

Many times I have traveled out to eat for breakfast found this hidden gem on a Saturday well I and the wife who likes to be obeyed were over the moon with this cafe I had the full English with me being a scot and...my wife having Mexican omelette we both enjoyed it roll on summer.
