This cozy restaurant is a wonderful spot to enjoy a homemade lunch or indulge in coffee and cake. It is recommended to make a reservation if you would like to experience their popular afternoon tea, as they tend to get very busy. The attentive staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This tea room is fantastic! We stopped in off the motorway because we don't like service stations, and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The lunch options were amazing with a wide selection to choose from, and the cakes we took away were absolutely delicious. It's probably a good thing I don't live closer, or I wouldn't be able to stay away.

This morning, we visited the restaurant for breakfast and it was truly fantastic! There was a wide variety of delicious food to choose from, along with a great selection of hot and cold drinks. The service was excellent as well. We highly recommend this place!

We visited Madhatters for our wedding and were blown away. The food, service, atmosphere and attention to detail was absolutely perfect. The guests all commented on the delicious food and drinks. All guests’ dietary needs were carefully and kindly met ensuring that everyone had the most wonderful time. A huge thank you to Emily for all of her hard work on the day and to Nygel for all of his preparation. You both made our special day very memorable. Just wonderful ! (And excellent value for money compared to other places in Nottingham) perfect mix of sour and sweet, balance of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Fun atmosphere and great service. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
