De Steenput - Brugge Centrum

On December 16, 2007, I visited this restaurant with my parents. We opted for the fixed-price menu at 16€, which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. We were seated on the first floor at the back of the restaurant. We started with an expensive but generous aperitif. Unfortunately, our waiter forgot to bring our appetizers, which was disappointing. We had to ask multiple times before finally receiving them. The main courses took a long time to arrive, and there was no apology from the waiter. When serving the dishes, I asked the waiter to be careful because there was a lot of sauce, but he responded curtly. Dessert also took a while to be served. We ended up spending three hours at the restaurant, much longer than anticipated. Overall, better organization, friendliness, and smiles from the waitstaff would greatly improve the dining experience.

After reminding them, we eventually received our starters. When the main dishes arrived, there was a long wait and the waiter didn't even apologize for the delay. When serving my dish, I asked the waiter to be careful as there was a lot of sauce, to which he responded brusquely. Dessert also took a while to arrive. Overall, better organization, friendliness, and a smile from the wait staff would greatly improve the dining experience at this restaurant.
