We have a special menu of 30 € for lunch on Easter Monday. (normal menus and basket not available likely and we were otherwise tried by the menu €55. 2 choices on each course, and eating was excellent a lot (where saw the size of the pave de veau coming, we both decided to manage it more than we did on the afternoon. service was good, informal, but friendly and efficient. only negatiw was a loud table of 4 English (actor Ex-Pats in the far away, why may some people vote the sound of their own so much that they have to drown a whole full of French families? hardly the fau of the restaurant.
In the last week in the opposite and had the most beautiful and reasonable lunch. my wife went for the truffle menu, which was exceptional, and if they never tried, truffle try here! I have visited this restaurant many times since they have been expelled in a small restaurant in caussade. his kitchen is so competent and consistent and amazing worth for money.
This may not be the most picturesque or charming restaurant we dined at during our recent holiday in Tarn et Garonne. It is to be found just off a roundabout outside Montricoux, and the interior is modestly, even quite plainly decorated. If you want beauty,...there is the Les Gorges d 'Aveyron not far away, but Delice des Papilles was my winner on points when it came to the food I 'd like to award 4.5! Not sure my wife would agree, so you might want to give both establishments a go! Menus at Delice des Papilles run from 27 euros to 80 euros, or you can have fun and spend a bit more a la carte, Even with the basic menu, they give you a generous amuse bouche, so make sure you are really hungry if opting for more courses on the pricier menus, and portions are generous. Pay what you like for wine, but even the cheaper local choices are very good. The cuisine, atmosphere and service were good. I believe they do offer outside tables, but we were there at the end of the only stormy day of our fortnight.
We visited this restaurant for the second time a couple of evenings ago. The first visit was for lunch while celebrating a friends birthday when we were seated inside (during springtime). This was a very nice experience good food and a tastefully designed interior....Our latest visit was during the evening and given the good weather we opted to sit (with the other diners) outside on the terrace. Again, the food was very good as was the service which was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The menu is fairly limited but what they serve is of very good quality and at a reasonable price. The only negatives we found were associated with the wine list and external ambiance. The external terrace definitely needs some work (it is dated and a little untidy) and the wine list did not list many local (Gaillac) wines and the ones that appeared were not the best quality. However, well deserved 4 stars.....
