U Houdků - Bruntal

We had our first dinner in prag because it was close to where we stayed and enjoyed both eating and the atmosphere very much. the person who served us speaks well English and the menu is available in three languages: Czech, German and English. there is even a menu for vegetarians that is great. a lot of variety and my favorite was surprisingly not the main dish, but picked Hermelin cheese, which went well with a cold beer! the prices are fair, just note that sides like potato wedges, brot and saucen cost extra. overall a really good, local experience.

There is a restaurant in prag that one has to see. the restaurant they have to taste. this is the place not in the tourist center, but it is worth walking to the foot or calling one over. here are the locals, not by chance. smiling, helpful staff. there is also an English menu. if something is unclear, they will be happy to help. Orders are written on a sheet of paper that remains on the table. If you run out of beer, bring the next immediately. the server only pulls a line on the paper. this place is very sympathetic. the food is very tasty, we received our order relatiw soon. we will definitely be here again, thanks for the experience! Of course they can also pay here by credit card.

Eating is amazing and the portions are huge. cheap prices and good beer! the personal is very friendly.

I ate here lunchtime. in a hurry, as I had to catch a train and the staff was so efficient and nicer. they got my (gance-sized) meal in 10 minutes, did the billing so fast and even packed things to go away when I demanded it. they were very understanding for my filthyness and eating was too big - had prepared the chicken medallions in potato pancakes, very good, but slightly bitter to taste so. also the prices were good, had a meal and a desert and drink under 300 czk.

Very good place for beer and czech food. We can recommend the fried cheese (eidam)
